Spec
A cocktail list on midnight blue: curling brass heads, each drink's build set like a spec sheet, a clipped-corner mirror frame. Set in Feroniapi, Geist and Geist Mono.
Snug
A pub on bottle green: the name signwritten in gilt on a fascia board, cream serif text, pints and halves in a proper table, a bar-mirror frame. Set in Basteleur and Source Serif 4.
Ledger
A cellar book for a long wine list: calligraphic heads, every bottle on its ruled line, prices in a red-ruled money column on ledger green. Set in Crimson Pro and Interlope.
Skin
A natural-wine list on amber: hand-scratched serif heads, each producer set above its wine like a label, two columns. Set in Bagnard and Haskoy.
Agave
A mezcal list on pale agave green: barbed hand-cut heads, maker and village as data under each spirit, pours in a tidy table. Set in Anthony and Haskoy.
Spike
A pintxos bar's wall list: stick-built heads, a toothpick tally over every section, prices large in a column on the left. Set in Anthony and Cooper Hewitt.
Teletext
A teletext page: pixel type on black, a colour band for every section, cyan dishes and yellow prices. Set in Geist Pixel Square and Geist Mono.
Abfahrt
A station departure board: amber pixel type on charcoal, the price in the time column, each dish a destination. Set in Geist Pixel Line and Geist.
Marquee
A cinema bar under its marquee: dotted bulb lettering, a ring of lit bulbs round every page, the menu centred like a programme. Set in Geist Pixel Circle and Jost.
Melt
A sixties gig poster on tangerine: liquid lettering over a sunburst, dripping rules under each heading, the menu in large dark aubergine type. Set in Pilowlava Atome and Haskoy.
Greenbar
A wine or bottle-shop list on green-banded line-printer paper: sprocket margins, pixel headings, a clear serif and prices hard right. Set in IBM Plex Serif and jgs9.
